The 5 states that use the 24 hour drug and alcohol monitoring device that I know of are: Colorado, Indiana, Texas, Michigan, and Tennessee. What I have learned is that it is being marketed as an FDA approved device for the purpose of drug and alcohol monitoring. My sources at the FDA says that it is not. They have no record or registration for the device. So, people on probation or parole are being required to use and pay for a device that apparently as I understand it is NOT approved by the FDA for that purpose AND may not even be completely reliable - thus providing false readings. If you are a member of the media in those 5 states or a member of the media and have questions about the device or company that is marketing it, please call me at (267) 357-1292 or email me at haroldcameron56@gmail.com.
